Why I'm Running

For more than thirty years, I have called this community home. It is where my husband and I chose to put down roots and raise our four children, and it is the place that shaped who I am today. Over the decades, I have seen our neighborhoods grow and change. But lately, like so many of you, I have grown deeply worried about our future.

My commitment to our community has always been about action. Working directly inside our schools gave me a front-row seat to the daily challenges our educators and students face. Serving you on the MSAD 60 School Board taught me how to navigate tough budgets and fight for local families. But I have also learned that too many of the hurdles we face at home are being caused by decisions—and indecision—in Augusta.

I am running for the State House because I refuse to watch working families and seniors get left behind. We need a leader who understands that strong communities require strong foundations. In Augusta, I will use my experience to fight for proper school funding that relieves the burden on local taxpayers, accessible mental healthcare for every Mainer, and a fair property tax system that protects people from being priced out of their own homes.

I have spent three decades listening, leading, and showing up for our community. Now, I am ready to take that fighting spirit to the State Capitol to make sure our voices are finally heard. I would be honored to earn your support and your vote.
